As a young lady I developed a passion for drawing when I discovered that keeping a diary was not for me. I quickly realized that drawing and doodling was a skill I wanted to pursue. I learned some drawing techniques from my elders, and from awesome prison art & letters I received from relatives with amazing drawing skills.

As a young lady I developed a passion for drawing when I discovered that keeping a diary was not for me. I quickly realized that drawing and doodling was a skill I wanted to pursue. I learned some drawing techniques from my elders, and from awesome prison art & letters I received from relatives with amazing drawing skills.
After years of practice and developing my style, I grew to love the arts and I naturally continued to learn and develop my skills in the arts. As a young adult I studied art at my local community colleges, and Focused on Fine Arts & Design, Art History, and also Child Development. I attended Mesa College and Southwestern College, where I learned to develop and fine tune my Skills as an Independent artist and has prepared me for painting murals and a passion for teaching the youth and advocating for the Arts.
As a Xicana artist, my focus has been on my experience as a Mexican American artist. Love & Jesus, mi familias, our music and recorded history, as well as our oral stories and art related to my roots have inspired a lot of my work and craft.

As I continue to explore the art scene with other painters through new community mural projects, my commitment to my local community naturally gains momentum. I am so proud to contribute and support themes related to our culture here in South California. I enjoy working on themes related to children, family, music, positive pop culture, and South California style & Business!

We aspire to create a vibrant arts exchange between artists, local businesses, and community friends and families by facilitating creative and family friendly projects and events all year round.
